Operator workflow
IRON NEST places you inside a 5,000-ton turret. Your first deployment connects the operator station, teleprinter orders, the tactical map, the ballistic calculator, shell loading, elevation, propellant, and the firing mechanism.
Use this verified learning order:
- Read the battlefield order delivered through the teleprinter.
- Locate the reported coordinates on the tactical map.
- Measure the target bearing and distance.
- Carry those measurements into the firing solution.
- Prepare the shell, elevation, and propellant before firing.

Build the firing solution
The verified firing workflow starts with two measurements: bearing and distance. Use the tactical map to obtain both, then use the ballistic calculator to connect the measured distance with elevation and the correct propellant charge.
Do not publish or rely on exact angle, range, or charge values until they are confirmed against the release build. The relationship between map measurement, calculator, elevation, and propellant is verified; individual numeric settings are Pending confirmation.
Loading and fire
After the solution is prepared, complete the loading sequence, set the required elevation and propellant, and use the turret’s firing mechanism. IRON NEST is built around controlling these major mechanisms from inside the machine rather than issuing a single abstract attack command.
Armor-piercing, smoke, and other unlockable ammunition types serve different battlefield roles. The full game includes 30 ammunition types and abilities. Specific unlock requirements and per-shell values are Pending confirmation.
