Does IRON NEST support Linux?
IRON NEST does not have a planned native Linux version at this stage. The developer explains that the two-person team has limited capacity and cannot offer official native support. The released store requirements describe a 64-bit PC build rather than a Linux-specific package.
The developer also reported that the Windows version appeared to run through Proton 10.0. This is useful compatibility information, but it does not convert Proton play into a supported native port. Results can vary by distribution, driver, hardware, and Proton update.
Linux users should distinguish “appears playable” from “officially supported.” Bug reports may still help, but the team has not promised Linux-specific fixes. A future policy change would need a new official statement.
